Deborah Holding Deborah Houlding

Deborah Houlding is an internationally recognised expert on the theory and practical application of traditional western astrology. As a consulting horary astrologer she has over 20 years experience working with a client-base that spans the globe.

She is the Principal of the STA school of traditional horary astrology (primarily based upon the methods of William Lilly) which teaches students through seminars, workshops and correspondence courses. Deborah is also the author of The Houses: Temples of the Sky (Wessex), past editor of the Traditional Astrologer magazine, current proprietor of the Skyscript astrology website (www.skyscript.co.uk), and a regular contributor to the Mountain Astrologer magazine.

She has several long-term projects about to reach fruition, amongst them an updated republication of her modern text version of Lilly's Christian Astrology, and the book Forensic Horary, which is expected to be published in 2010. Eve Dembowski Eve Dembowski
Astrologer & Flower Essence Therapist

American-born Eve Dembowski now lives in Melbourne, Australia. She trained as a musician and flower essence therapist, holds a diploma of applied astrology from Astro- synthesis, a certificate in medieval astrology and continues with her own study and research, with an emphasis on classical (pre 1700) and Hellenistic astrology. Much of her astrological understanding comes from direct application in raising four children. Mari Garcia Mari Garcia

Mari Garcia is a consulting astrologer and educator. She was awarded the Practitioners Certificate from the Federation of Australian Astrologers in 1995. She completed the Robert Zoller Medieval Course as well as the Post Graduate Certificate in Medieval Astrology awarded by Astro Logos. She has also undertaken and successfully completed Bernadette Brady's Fixed Star Course.

Mari has lectured widely in Australia including the Federation of Australian Astrologers bi-annual conference in Sydney in 2008, at FAA sponsored workshops in Western Australia, Queensland and Tasmania, regularly for FAA- SA and at the Forum of Professional Astrologers Seminar Series. Mari has also lectured at the United Astrology Conference (UAC) in the USA in 2002 and again in 2008.

She has published articles in a number of publications locally, nationally and internationally and writes columns for several publications and edited Astrology - An Ancient Art in the Modern World: Australis 97 Congress papers and was also a contributor to the anthology with the article "A Mundane Look at Australian Images".

Her interests include mundane and political astrology, mythology and medieval astrology and the research and application of medieval techniques in a modern setting.

Mari runs a consulting practice, is co-principal of ASTRO MUNDI, a school offering a four year astrology course, studies in Medieval Astrology as well as Master Classes covering a wide range of topics. All courses are available via Distance Education. www.astromundi.com

Mari is Chair of the Astrological Guild of Educators International and is a founding member of the Forum of Professional Astrologers.



Charles Jameson

Charles has been studying and practising astrology since the early 1990s. He learnt modern astrology from Kay Raymer, and graduated with the F.A.A. Practitioner Certificate in about 1997.

Since then, he's completed Robert Zoller's Foundation of Medieval Astrology, and John Frawley's Horary Apprenticeship. He has given two lectures at the V.A.A - one on Essential and Accidental Dignities, and the other on the life and works of colourful 16th century astrology-physician Simon Forman. In 2008 he was a regular contributor to the Channel 31 Cosmic Imprint television program.

Charles has also run several Horary groups in Melbourne, and is currently undertaking John Frawley's traditional natal course.



Joy Usher Joy Usher

Joy Usher is a consulting astrologer and educator who gained her FAA Practitioners Certificate in 1995, and served as Coordinator to the FAA Exam Board from 1996-1998.

Joy completed the Robert Zoller Medieval Astrology Course, and gained the Astro Logos Certificate in Medieval Astrology, the Medieval Post Graduate course and Accreditation in the Fixed Star Course. Joy received her AGE Honours Diploma in 2003 for her paper on the Arabic Parts.

She is a Faculty member and served as Exam Registrar for The Astrological Guild of Educators from 1998 to 2008, and is a founding member of the Forum of Professional Astrologers. She has lectured at various astrological conferences around Australia, and has spoken at the Astrological Association Conference in York, England in 2003. She is a regular speaker for the South Australian branch of the FAA and at the FPA Seminars.

She has been published in The FAA Journal and the Australis '97 Congress Papers, and, in 1999 and 2000 she was a regular columnist for The Astrological Monthly Review, a national magazine on astrology. Joy began teaching in 1995 with Balsama Astrology, and has been co-principal of Astro Mundi, which opened its doors in Adelaide, South Australia in 2002. AstroMundi currently teaches attending classes, and has a number of interstate and overseas students who attend on-line and through distance education programs. AstroMundi travels interstate to conduct independent workshops and has been conducting Master Classes in Advanced Techniques in Astrology since 2005.
